Don't think I have ever heard it so raw and pure. Later performances from TV were too rehearsed and polished. This sounds totally believable.

Obviously performed to a WWII troop crowd.

The Youngman and Burns & Allen routines were surprisingly weak, the A&C is the keeper of the bunch.

The playback of Abbot and Costello VBR is perfect for me. Please re download it to eliminate the problem.

Sound recording has some problems -- in Abbott's voice especially -- keeps alternating between too fast, too slow and correct rate.
